Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to operate various hand tools effectively. As a Trimmer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetics and health of cannabis plants. This position requires a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality results.

Please note, for a full time position requires longer distance commuting (1hr. - 1.5hr)  2-3 times a week, and reliable transportation is mandatory. This position REQUIRES commuting to Lansing, Flint, Ann Arbor, and Metro Detroit.

The perfect candidate someone that is passionate about working in the cannabis industry, have reliable transportation, are goal driven, and you are self motivated. 

Applicants must be available a minimum of three days a week.

Duties

• Utilize hand tools for trimming plants.

• Trimming cannabis flower quickly and efficiently.

• Perform regular plant maintenance: defoliating cannabis plants.

• Assist in harvesting and prepping plants for extraction.

• Carry out basic gardening tasks, including transplanting plants and resetting rooms.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use.

• Monitor plant health and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.

• Must have a clean criminal record.

• Must own your own car that is reliable.

• Previous trimming experience is preferred.

• Must be reliable and punctual to work.

• Must have good communication skills.

• Must own a smartphone and be able to use technology.

Schedule

• 9 hour shift (9:00AM-6:00PM)

• 8 hour shift (9:00AM-5:00PM)
